Adi Bhagwat

Adi is part of the senior leadership group executing ICGSE’s investment strategy and sits on its Investment Committee.

Prior to joining ICG, Adi was an investment professional in the North American Private Equity team at Bain Capital in New York. Before that, Adi worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in Sydney and New York.

Adi graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Distinction and University Medal) and a Bachelor of Laws (1st Class Hons.) from the University of Technology, Sydney. He also holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

Alan Isenberg

Prior to joining ICG, Alan was Global Head of the Client Partnership Group at Angelo Gordon, leading that firm’s client and product teams globally. He also served as a member of Angelo Gordon’s Partnership Advisory Board, the firm’s executive management group prior to its acquisition by TPG in November 2023 (at which point the firm became known as TPG Angelo Gordon). Before this, Alan was the Global Head of Product Strategy and Marketing at Neuberger Berman, where he served on that firm’s Operating Committee and was the senior ally sponsor of NB Pride, that firm’s LGBTQ+ network.

Alan began his investment management career at PIMCO, where he worked for eight years in client-facing roles and business leadership roles in the US and Asia-Pacific, respectively. Previously, he was a journalist at CNN and Newsweek International.

Alan holds a BA in Diplomatic History, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, a JD from Stanford Law School and an MBA in International Finance and Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Alexandra Hone

Alexandra was previously a manager within Deloitte corporate finance where she became a chartered accountant. She has a BA in Economics & Politics from Durham University.

Allan Marchington

Prior to ICG, Allan was Founder and Managing Partner of Bridge Valley Ventures, a successful life science investor, and prior to this was a Partner and Founder of Apposite Capital. Before this Allan was at Abingworth.

Formerly a PhD medicinal chemist at Pfizer, he later founded and was CEO of his own life sciences company before it was successfully acquired by Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 2000 where he became SVP Technology. On his return to the UK in 2003 Allan joined Abingworth to begin his investment career.

Andrea Serra

Prior to joining ICG, Andrea spent 15 years at Blackstone, most recently as a Managing Director in the Tactical Opportunities group in New York, and before that, in the firm’s Private Equity division in London and New York. Andrea began his career at Goldman Sachs in its M&A division in London.

Andrea graduated in economics from Bocconi University in Milan, and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Andreas Mondovits

Prior to joining ICG, he worked for UBS Global Asset Management, where he spent over ten years in senior distribution and marketing roles, latterly as Global Head of Business Development for Global Real Estate (GRE). During his time at UBS Global Asset Management, Andreas ran European Sales Management, built up its Pan Asia franchise and was a key member of the GRE team that grew the business to become one of the largest real estate investment managers globally. Prior to this, Andreas held senior sales and marketing roles at Merrill Lynch and UBS Warburg.

Following undergraduate studies in economics, and an MBA at the University of Southern California, Andreas spent 10 years in consumer goods marketing and sales with Procter & Gamble and Coca Cola.

Andrew Sykes

He was Senior Independent Director until March 2022 when he was appointed as Interim Chair. Andrew returned to his role as Senior Independent Director on 31 January 2023, succeeded by incoming Chair William Rucker.

Andrew has a wealth of financial services and non‐executive experience and spent 26 years of his executive career at Schroders PLC. He was Chairman of SVG Capital plc until 2017, having served on the board since 2010 and as Chairman since 2012. He also served as Chairman of Smith & Williamson from 2013 to 2020.

He is an experienced director of UK listed companies with deep knowledge of the financial services sector and of Corporate Governance requirements.

Andy Lewis

He is also General Counsel and Company Secretary for ICG plc, and Chairs the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee.

Prior to joining ICG, Andy spent 11 years in legal practice with Slaughter and May and Ashurst LLP, specialising in company law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.

Andy is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and a graduate of Oxford University.

Antje Hensel-Roth

Antje is responsible for leading both strategic human capital management with a particular focus on business diversification strategies, as well as communications and external affairs.

She has led a comprehensive drive for excellence in leadership, talent management, culture and inclusion. She possesses extensive experience in the global asset management industry, with a particular focus on alternative investments. She has been instrumental in delivering new business initiatives and driving diversification into new investment strategies as well as positioning ICG as an employer of choice for high calibre executives across all business lines globally.

Career history

Prior to joining ICG, she was Global Co‐Head of the Investment Management Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, in which role she acted as an advisor to ICG from 2011. Antje graduated from the University of Düsseldorf and holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.

Benoît Durteste

Benoît is an experienced investor with a strong understanding of the markets in which the Group operates. During his time on the Board he has been a strong contributor to the Group’s strategic development, including leading our European investment business. He contributes a thorough understanding of financial markets and the Group’s investment portfolio to Board proceedings.

Career history

Prior to Swiss Re, Benoît worked in the Leveraged Finance division of BNP Paribas and in GE Capital’s Telecom and Media Private Equity team in London. He moved to ICG’s London office in 2007 and became ICG’s CEO and Chief Investment Officer in 2017.
